美国堪萨斯城
外号「大鸟」的萨克斯风演奏家查利·帕克 （Charlie “Yardbird” Parker） 出生于堪萨斯城，为了庆祝这位城内最知名的爵士音乐家其一生所遗留给后人的音乐资产，堪萨斯城将于8月16日至25日举办为期长达10天一系列的音乐活动，预计将会举办大师班、工作坊以及观光导览，其中最令人期待的特别是由爵士音乐家、教师以及学生们在堪萨斯城最美的几处景点所举办的音乐会。
演出名单包括 Lonnie McFadden、Tivon Pennicott、Steve Martin、David Bass Trio 三重奏、Peter Lamb、Matt Villanger，以及 Gerald Spaits & Charles Perkins 等多位音乐家。
