The next Biamp PDX Jazz Festival, which has reached its 16th edition, will be held in Portland, the largest city in Oregon, from February 20 to March 3, 2019. The festival will start with a performance by the American trumpeter, composer and record producer Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah.
The line-up will feature artists such as the pianist Ramsey Lewis with his quintet, the Urban Knights, Patrice Louise Rushen, the Brazilian flutist Jovino Santos Neto, Natalia Smirnova, The Bad Plus, Cameron Graves, the Art Blakey Centennial Band, among others.
Moreover, to celebrate the Blue Note Records 80th anniversary, Terence Blanchard will perform with his band, the E-Collective.
