Ahmad Jamal’s new album, “Marseille” will be issued on June 9 on digital format and on July 7 on CD. In this album the artist, who was named in 2007 “Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et Des Lettres”, wishes to celebrate his friendship with the French audience. He is accompanied by Herlin Riley on drums, James Cammack on double bass and Monolo Badrena on percussions; special guest the French rapper Abd Al Malik.
