New unreleased Bill Evans’s album is entitled “On a Monday Evening”. It was recorded on November 15th, 1976, at Wisconsin University Madison Union Theater. Evans was captured at the top of his game, together with Eddie Gomez on bass and Eliot Zigmund on drums. Eliot Zigmund declares: “There’s nothing comparable to this recording: we eventually have an official evidence of this trio playing a live performance. About time too!”
