Blue Note will release on January 26 the debut album by Chris Dave and the Drumhedz, entitled with the same name as the band. Anderson, Paak, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Bilal, SiR, Anna Wise and many more artists will be special guests in the record. The sound of the band, which is led by Chris Dave on drums, goes from funk to soul, gospel, hip-hop and jazz. The other band members are Pino Palladino on bass, Isaiah Sharkey on guitar, Cleo ‘Pookie’ Sample on keyboards, and Sir Darryl Farris on vocals.
