Pianist, composer and bandleader Vijay Iyer will perform at the famed Village Vanguard on May 9th – May 14th with two sets, nightly at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Additionally, in Spring, the Vijay Iyer Sextet will record its highly anticipated debut for ECM Records. The sextet will play a string of dates in the Midwest in addition to the Newport Jazz Festival on August 4-5 and the at Monterey Jazz Festival on September 17, with more dates to be announced soon. Additionally, Iyer is the 2017 Musical Director of the Ojai Music Festival that will be performed on June 8-11, 2017 in Ojai, CA.
