The double CD Truth, Liberty & Soul – Live in NYC: The Complete 1982 NPR Jazz Alive! Recording came out on May 26, featuring the complete recording of Jaco Pastorius’s concert with the Word of Mouth Big Band at New York Avery Fisher Hall on June 27, 1982. The album celebrates the bass player 30 years after his passing away: a live realized by an extraordinary band, composed by Toots Thielemans, Randy Brecker, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer and others.
