Genius guitarist Earl Klugh, born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1953, became famous at 15 when he contributed to Yusef Lateef’s album Suite 16.
Later he collaborated with George Benson and appeared in his album White Rabbit. His music style is greatly influenced by master guitarist Chet Atkins.
In 1981 he won the Grammy Award for “Best Pop Instrumental Performance” for his album One on One with (and produced by) Bob James.
