Sean Jones’s 8th album for Mack Avenue, “Live From Jazz At The Bistro”, was recorded live at the St. Louis Jazz At The Bistro. The seven tracks are performed by the quartet composed by the leader together with Orrin Evans on piano, Luques Curtis on double bass and Obed Calvaire on drums, who have been working with him for the last 11 years. In five tracks the group becomes a quintet with Brian Hogans on soprano saxophone.
