Sonny Rollins (born in 1930) is considered one of the most important and influential Saxophone players in the history of Jazz Music.
In his 70 years career he has recorded over 70 albums and among his compositions “St. Thomas” and “Oleo” have become standards. He is considered as the greatest improviser alive.
The famous song “St. Thomas” was included in his 1957 record Saxophone Colossus
