Cécile McLorin Salvant’s third album is entitled Dreams and Daggers and will be released on September 29 by Mack Avenue. It’s a double CD featuring 23 tracks in which the vocalist is accompanied by his usual trio: Aaron Diehl on piano, Paul Sikivie on double bass and Lawrence Leathers on drums. The album was partially recorded live at New York Village Vanguard and partially in studio.
