Seamus Blake

Horizontal Dialogues, Raffaele Califano’s new record, features the band leader on drums. Seamus Blake on tenor saxophone, Antonio Bagli on piano and Francesco Pierotti on double bass. The title reminds of the equal dialogue giving birth to the most inspired music, as it has to be, but at the same time it recalls the empathic dimension of human relationships in interpersonal contacts, “the necessity of dialogue that growths between persons of any origin”, as Califano states.
