Snailspace, the 4th album by pianist Simone Graziano, was published by Auand last September 22. The pianist, also on synth and Fender Rhodes, is accompanied by Francesco Ponticelli on double bass and synth, and Tommy Crane on drums. Snailspace is a defence of slowness, meant as a form of rebellion. The title is inspired by a tale by Luis Sepúlveda, “The story of a snail who discovered the importance of being slow”, where a snail named Rebel, after being sent away from its group, travels in search of the meaning of slowness.
