The Swedish soprano Jeanette Köhn, together with a small group of instrumentalists (Johan Norberg on guitar, Magnus Lindgren on flute and clarinet, Eva Kruse on double bass, Nils Landgren on trombone and voice), to the ensemble Capella de la Torre directed by Katharina Bäuml, and to the Hannover Knabenchor recorded live this record, in Hannover Landesfunkhaus Niedersachsen, on October 29 and 30. The album, an encounter between classical music and jazz, features tracks taken from the Renaissance repertoire, with reinterpretations of Michael Praetorius, Martin Luther, Johann Sebastian Bach, Giovanni Giacomo Gastoldi, etc.). The combination of the two sounds is very original.
